Up Close and Personal

While Bailey was suffering at the pet hotel over the weekend, Rudy and I were getting up close and personal with Bailey's favorite dawg: UGA VII.

As you can see from the above picture we lucked into some pretty sweet tickets. I accidentally got a little bit closer to the action when I kicked my camera under the stadium seats (our seats had holes under them like bleachers) and had to go down to the field level and under the stadium to retrieve it. When I was walking under the stadium with the Sheriff, UGA VII was waiting in the wings with Sonny Sieler and the family getting ready to run out on the field. It was really cool.

Moral of the story...if you go to Auburn and get to sit on row 7 or better, kick you belongings under the seats so you can go on a cool journey to get them.

Our trip to Auburn was fun. We learned a great new tailgating trick. We made omelets in Ziploc bags...add eggs and add-ins (cheese, etc.) in the bag and seal with as little air remaining as possible...then throw them into a boiling pot of water for 10-15 minutes.

Pumpkin Carving

Bailey helped us carve our pumpkin on Thursday night. Contrary to this picture, he did not want to eat the pumpkin guts.
Because it is Georgia Florida weekend we had to do a Georgia themed pumpkin. We have been psyched up all week, and this was one of the many ways we are showing our support for the Dawgs.

Happy Howl-oween

Bailey's inner hound dog came out last night. He was howling at the moon to get into the Halloween spirit. He was a little confused by all the knocking on the door and the kids running around outside. However, I'd say he did very well for his first Halloween with us. We had so many people in our neighborhood that we ran out of candy before 8 o'clock.

(I love it when Bailey's lip gets caught on his tooth)
No Alabama Halloween would be complete without riding in the back of a pick-up truck. Bailey was not trying to jump out even though that is what it looks like in the picture. He is a good truck bed rider.
