Easter Picture

Bailey's first Easter with us.

New (but very important) People!!

We had a cookout at my parent's this weekend and Bailey spent some time with Lizzy, Virginia, and Laura; this was very exciting for him. (Virginia, somehow we did not take a picture - we'll get one next time!!)
LIZZY

Bailey also met Colter, Connor, and Ms. Twinkle. Colter can usually be found shooting at animals, but he loves doggies!!! Bailey enjoyed Colter's kisses. How Sweet!
COLTER

I could not leave out Bailey's cousin dogs. They are not new to Bailey, but Betsy's t-shirt is new. She has a cast/sling on under her shirt :( So sad. Bailey let Betsy drink the water first to show her that he is sympathetic to her pain.

Road Trip

Bailey hopped in the car for a road trip to Dalton. He assumed his usual position in the back where he once again threw up just before we arrived.

Rainbow Mountain Hike

Friday we went hiking on Rainbow Mountain in Madison, AL. There were nice trails, and we only got lost in the woods once. Bailey was off his leash and very happy to climb for 3 miles over fallen trees, through briers, and across streams. His previous owners used to take him hiking often, so hopefully we brought back happy childhood memories for him.

Goooo Dawgs!!

As Bailey's shirt indicates, the Bulldawgs are #1. Bailey was amazed by the Georgia Men's Basketball team's miraculous run in the post-season to capture the SEC Championship. He wishes them good luck in the NCAA tourney. (GA will play Xavier at 12:20 on Thursday). Bailey will be watching and cheering.

Bailey's First Night Away

Bailey had a fabulous time Sunday afternoon and Monday with his family in Dalton. Rudy and I had to go to Athens (Rudy for business, I had to see Copper), and we left Bailey in Dalton to spend Sunday night with Trevor, Alys, Bailey, and Riley and then spend Monday with his Gram and Papa Mike. He had a very successful first night away.

RELAXING AT TREVOR AND ALYS'S

According to Trevor, Bailey introduced some new dog wrestling tactics to Betsy and Riley. He takes the attacking from above approach. Betsy is used to attacking from below because of her short legs.

LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO MY BABY!

Is dog food laced with caffeine?

Bailey had a fabulous afternoon with his new buddy Samford and "The Treat Lady," Kristin. It was so exciting. They sniffed, wrestled, and raced around for two hours; and they amazingly never got tired. They chewed on the same piece of bark (at the same time). They drank out of the water faucet (at the same time). They also got extremely slobbery; since Bailey is shorter he got most of the slobber on his head. :) They were little peas in a pod. Bailey hasn't stopped talking about it since Samford left. He is looking forward to next time.

Ready for Work

Bailey's new hobby is wearing ties; actually, my hobby is putting ties on him. He looks very sophisticated. Of the two, he favored the bow tie.
