Who wears short shorts?
Bailey wears short shorts. I have often thought that shorts would be more appropriate than Bailey's nudity, so this evening he tried some shorts on. After about a second he tried to tear them apart. I guess he will continue walking around naked.

We miss you John
What a Weekend!!
Bailey's first human cousin arrived this weekend!!! Yay!!! Copper is finally here, and he is the cutest little guy ever! I can't wait to see him again.

Copper's arrival was obviously the most exciting thing to happen this weekend, but Bailey was not allowed to come to the hospital so he had other activities. He stayed in Atlanta with Daisy (Rudy's parent's dawg). They got along fabulously. They ran up and down the yard, buried stuff, dug under the fence, chased each other, sniffed, napped, barked, wrestled, ate the cat's food, licked Ms. Phyllis's toes sticking out of her casted leg, etc.

Bow Wow Bone-anza
You may be asking yourself, "What is Bailey doing today?" If you are then you are in the right place. He went to the "Bow Wow Bone-anza" at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens this morning. It was a big dawg party with a special walking trail designed just for dawgs, a no leash play zone, a dawg fashion show, and a dawg and human look-a-like contest. Bailey enjoyed it all...especially the no leash play area.
NO LEASH PLAY ZONE
He met all kinds of dawgs today. He met Mastiffs, a Great Dane, Chihuahuas, Pugs, Greyhounds, an English Sheepdog, Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, a Corgi, Yorkshire Terriers, Beagles, Labs, Goldens, and of course many mutts. Bailey mingled well; he did not growl or even bark. There was, however, a great deal of sniffing and slobbering.

BAILEY MEETS HIS FIRST GREAT DANE
Bailey had an unusual slobbering issue today. It was everywhere! Look at the long string of goo hanging from his mouth.
SLOBBERING
We also cannot forget the free treat buffet. Bailey manipulated the poor woman standing behind the buffet and got about 10 treats. He used his big sad eyes to have his way with her.

Bailey's Secret Talents - Digging and Locking Doors
Bailey's other talent is locking doors. While I was gone to Office Depot I left Bailey in the bathroom. When I returned home Bailey was of course barking a wiggling behind the door. I turned the doorknob to let him out, and it was locked!! Bailey chewed on the doorknob and somehow turned the lock. In a panic, I then unscrewed the doorknob and ripped the lock out of the door to finally get to my little guy. This is just one of the many adventures of Bailey. More are sure to come.

The Beginning
We got Bailey Munson Weber on December 31st, 2007 in Hunstville, Alabama. This is a picture of Bailey on his first day with us. We quickly learned that Bailey gets carsick; he threw up in between the seats of his Grandpa's car within the first hour that we had him. Sorry Daddy...I cleaned it up the best I could. We have since conquered that problem, and now Bailey enjoys riding in the car. Just the other day we learned that the Wachovia drive through has dawg treats. Who knew??
