Roomies!!!

Yay!! We had a visit from our old roommate(s), Marybeth and Chris. Someone actually came to Alabama to visit us.

Bailey was very pleased to meet them both. HOWEVER, Chris was not pleased to meet Bailey; he would not even take a picture with Bailey or pet him. Shocking, I know. Bailey is not used to being ignored so I had to show him extra affection to make up for it. We did not let this hurt our feelings though, because Chris doesn't like McDonald's either, and we all know that McDonald's is awesome (just like Bailey).

Thankfully, Marybeth made up for Chris's disinterest in dogs. She enjoyed Bailey's company, and he liked her back (see picture below). Thanks for coming y'all!!!

Poor Dawg

Bailey had some crate time while we were at the wedding this weekend. He was slightly traumatized by all of the coming and going at random hours of the day and by going in and out of his crate much more than usual. I felt very badly for him; but now we are home, and I think he'll be ok. I had to include a picture of the crew from business school because we miss y'all.

Officially a Dawg

Bailey is officially a dawg now because he has been to the greatest place on Earth... Athens, Ga.

After five hours in the car Thursday, Bailey and I arrived in Athens for Mike and Mandy's wedding weekend. Bailey was lucky enough to meet Copper Thursday night, but he was a little bit too interested in Copper for everyone's comfort so we had to tie him to the table. He really wanted to get to him probably just to give him kisses/sniff him, but better safe than sorry; he also got very jealous when I held Copper and barked relentlessly. Bailey is in the background of this picture pouting.

Friday, Bailey had a big day at the park behind my sister's house. He got to visit the dog park and go to chase birds around the lake. It was a dream day for a dog.

A Much Needed Bath

Bailey gets a little bit excited after a bath. I guess he just feels so good when we are done that he doesn't know what to do with himself. Before this video he ran out of the bedroom and slide right into the wall because his paws were still wet. That would have been a much more entertaining video, but this is all I have. The quality is not that great, but you'll get the point.

SPRING!!

Not only does spring bring nicer weather, but we also get bugs. Bailey's new favorite activity is chasing bugs around the yard and house. Below is a picture of Bailey cornering a bug and sniffing it to death.

Bailey has been a very busy dog, but I haven't posted anything in a while. To my loyal readers, I apologize. (That would be about 2 people)


Anyway... Bailey was introduced to the leisure sport of croquet a few weekends ago. He was more interested in standing in the way than anything, but that is why we love him. He also was introduced to Robbie (I am pretty sure he had met Chris before??) who he loved and awoke with kisses in the morning.
